Job Description

Full time Monday to Friday Days We have outstanding opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a free standing Acute Care Rehabilitation Hospital. The NP will use and develop his/her education and training and experience with the intent of creating a caring environment that will foster each patient's progress towards independence. The NP is responsible for providing and facilitating direct patient care under physician supervision. The nurse practitioner may coordinate all aspects of care from preadmission through discharge, follow-up care and community reentry. The nurse practitioner is a liaison between health care facilities, physicians, physician extenders, therapists, nurses and other support staff. The nurse practitioner will also provide education to patients and staff on various clinical management issues. A NM or compact state licensure is required.
