Job Description

Part time Mon-Fri e/o w/e Days Renders professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process. Provides total direct patient care including medical management, group therapy, admission and discharge. Assumes responsibility and is accountable for individual nursing judgments and actions pursuant to the objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nurse Practice Act. Requirements: Prefer 1 year acute psychiatric nursing or extensive medical / surgical experience with interest in psychiatric nursing. Must have NM nursing license upon hire.
